CRYING GULL TOYS INVADE NEW YORK COMICON 2013'!

Hello My Peoples! I will be attending the upcoming New York Comicon on Friday, October 11th. I will be hanging out in 'The Block' section, primarily, with My good buddy Plex (Donkey Jaw Projects) And yes, since I'm broke, I will be selling toys out of my bag! The products will include The Dobotz, and My Black Metal Buddies figures. NYCC 2013' will also see the debut of Crying Gull Toys newest product, Love Bytes! The Love Bytes are mini hand cast resin hearts complete with googly eyes, and available in four colors "(Lipstick Red, Pearl Pink, Pearl Blue, and one unpainted dark grey heart. All Love Bytes will be bagged with a handmade header card, exclusive to NYCC 2013'. Pieces will also be individually signed, numbered, and limited to 5 pieces. THE DOBOTZ ARE HERE!

Crying Gull Toys returns with our newest additions to our designer toy line, The
DOBOTZ! Here's a brief history....

When a starship carrying the sole survivors
of a dying race of gelatinous,symbiotic creatures (The Mrool) crash-lands on a
planet ruled by a hostile Cyborg Army,The defenseless alien castaways are forced to fuse with cybernetic elements of their newfound planet, and it’s inhabitants, for their sole survival. Out of the wreckage oozes a new breed of warrior. Half alien, half robot, They are..The Dobotz!

The Dobotz are resin figures that stand 2" tall and they are cast in 4 colors, feature dry brush work, and spray paint coating on certain figures. Each figure comes bagged with header card, signed by myself, along with a free 1" Dobotz pin! The figures also come individually signed. BLACK METAL BUDDIES DEBUT!

That's right folks, My line of Black Metal Buddies mini-figures make their debut today with the first figure in the series, Abyss! Abyss is the front man for the Norwegian Black Metal Band, Darkest Throne (Not to be confused with the actual band, Dark Throne) He is a resin figure hand sculpted, hand cast, hand painted by yours truly, and limited to seven pieces. He stands 2.5" tall and comes hand numbered with a signed header card I designed. Since all seven pieces are hand painted with some post production sculpt modifications here and there, no two figures are exactly alike. Special shout out to by boy Plex, of Donkey Jaw Projects for the constant support and encouragement. A DONKEY JAW PROJECTS/CRYING GULL TOYS COLLABORATION!

Donkey Jaw Projects recently revealed their first resin figure, MOLT-The Locust Monster! I was fortunate enough to paint a figure for Plex's first wave of figures. I call it, 'The Starkology Edition' Mainly because his color scheme is similar to that of Iron Man, and the name was inspired by Ghostface Killah, one of my favorite MC's. So hats off to Plex and Donkey Jaw Projects! And thanks again for the Collabo Op ;) All photos provided by Plex. Molding, And Casting, And Crap, Oh My!

Everyone has got to start somewhere, That's why I've  decided to post the (quite frankly) embarrassing results of my first attempts at molding and casting. I failed to pay attention to the little things i should have, and the result was an odd collection of Venus Di Milo like figures. The sculpt shown is actually the second figure in my soon to be released, Black Metal Buddies line. Enjoy your naughty little sneak peak ;) And stop laughing at Me!!
